03:00 hrs. Salida desde el punto de encuentro en Córdoba

07:00 hrs. Presentación en el puerto de Tarifa para retirar las tarjetas de embarque.

08:00 hrs. Salida en fast ferry hacia Tánger.
Desde la cubierta del barco aparecen en todo su esplendor el perfil de las colinas de la ciudad, dominadas por dos altas torres: la de la mezquita de Mohammed V y la de la Catedral española. De fondo, entre el murmullo de las olas, se adivina el sonido del muecín llamando a la oración, y es entonces cuando sentimos que hemos llegado a nuestro destino, Marruecos: el país de los sentidos.
*Cuando lleguemos al puerto de Tánger, nos recibirá nuestro guía y nos dirá donde cambiar euros a dirhams.
Salimos hacia las montañas del Rif, para dirigirnos a Chefchaouen ubicada en el único parque natural intercontinental, declarada reserva natural de la biosfera.
Chaouen es un pueblo colgado en la montaña, blanco y azul, de gentes sabias, amables y respetuosas, y que ofrecen al visitante hermosos panoramas urbanos en declive, preciosas muestras de artesanía local y una paz y serenidad que hoy es difícil encontrar. De allí se sale con un fuerte deseo de volver y estar más tiempo, hablar con sus gentes y encontrar paz.

Almuerzo libre en Chefchaouen.
Después de comer, emprenderemos nuestro camino hacia Meknes, maravillosaciudad amurallada, y la más pequeña de las capitales imperiales. Ciudad monumental, rodeada de una inmensa muralla del siglo XVI de más de 40 kms de perímetro, tiene el orgullo de poseer una de las puertas más bellas de todo Marruecos, Bab el Mansour.

··· DIA 7 DE DICIEMBRE ···
Meknes – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – (Desierto Sahara) Merzouga.

Desayuno en el Hotel
Salida en autobús para realizar una visita panorámica de la ciudad de Meknes, el mausoleo de Moulay Ismail, incluyendo Bab el Mansur y el peculiar mercado de abastos.
Después de esta breve visita saldremos hacia Azrou, tras una breve parada, continuamos hacia Midelt, atravesando los bosques de cedros del Medio Atlas.
Parada en ruta para almorzar.
Continuación hacia Erfoud ciudad denominada “La Puerta del Desierto”, donde dejaremos el autobús para continuar en 4×4 hacia Merzouga. Continuaremos hacia el Gran Erg Chebi “Desierto de Dunas de Finísima Arena” donde se encuentra nuestro campamento y donde también tendrás tu primer contacto con el Sahara. Pasamos la noche en haimas “Tiendas de Pelo de Dromedario” como las que utilizan los Nómadas del Desierto y disfrutar de una Noche Mágica bajo miles de Estrellas.

··· DIA 8 DE DICIEMBRE ···
Merzouga – Rissani – Fez.

Amanecer en el Desierto del Sáhara. Sus dunas se extienden hasta el horizonte y algunas se elevan más de 150 m.
La experiencia de ver salir los primeros rayos de Sol en el Sahara es impresionante. Hoy obligatorio madrugar para una cita inolvidable con el amanecer.
Desayuno y paseo en camello por las dunas de fina de arena del desierto.
Posteriormente iremos en 4×4 a Rissani, recorriendo parte de las pistas que utilizan en el Rally Dakar por el desierto de piedras, donde podremos reconocer canteras de fósiles de hace miles de años asi como la posibilidad de ver algunos nómadas.
En Rissani nos encontraremos con el autocar y continuaremos nuestro camino a Fez, hermosa ciudad donde la rica tradición artesanal marroquí sigue viva hoy.
Fez representa un mundo perdido para las civilizaciones occidentales. Fundada por Moulay Idriss en el año 791, es hoy día la capital religiosa y espiritual de Marruecos.

··· DIA 9 DE DICIEMBRE ···
Fez

Desayuno en el hotel.
09:00 hrs. Salimos para realizar una visita con guía local del la ciudad de Fez. Comenzaremos con una panorámica de la ciudad, incluyendo las tumbas Merinides. Después visitaremos Fez el Jedid, incluyendo la plaza de los Alahuitas, exteriores del Palacio Real y Dar el Makhzen. Continuaremos hacia la visita a pie de Fez el Bali, cuya medina tiene más de 7000 callejuelas, visitaremos el zoco de especias de Attarin, el zoco de la Jenna. Llegaremos a la plaza de Nejjarin donde se encuentra el founduk del mismo nombre y visitaremos la madraza de Bounania. Continuaremos hacia la plaza Es Seffarin para acabar la mañana en el barrio de los curtidores y ver las tenerías.
15:00 hrs. Almuerzo en el hotel.
Tarde libre – cena libre
20:30 hrs Recomendamos cena OPCIONAL con gran espectáculo folklórico en restaurante local.

Fez – Asilah – Tánger – Tarifa – Córdoba.

Desayuno en el hotel
08:00 am Salida hacia Asilah, también conocida como la perla del Atlántico.
Almuerzo libre.
Salida hacia el puerto de Tánger
17:00 hrs. Salida del fast ferry a Tarifa.
Llegada a Tarifa y continuación hacia Córdoba.

The trip to Morocco is finally here!!

What’s included?

6th December
Cordoba – Tarifa – Tanger – Chefchaouen – Meknes

– Departure at 3am on 6th December
– Arrival at Tarifa port at 7am to collect boarding passes for ferry.
– Departure for Tanger by ferry at 8am

From the ferry you’ll be able to see the beautiful hills of Tanger, dominated by two tall towers; one belonging to the Mohammed V mosque and the other to the Spanish Cathedral. In the background, you’ll be able to hear the sound of the waves mixed with the call to prayer….and it is then that we’ll know we have arrived at our destination; Morocco, a land that awakens all the senses.

– When we arrive at the port in Tanger, we will be met by our guide who will advise us where to change euros for dirhams (the local currency).

We will then make our way to the Rif mountains to go to Chefchaouen which is located in an officially recognised natural reserve and the world’s only intercontinental national park.
We will be met by a guide who will show us Chaouen, a mountain town, blue and white, and full of friendly and wise people who will offer us the opportunity to visit beauty spots and viewpoints and to sample local craftsmanship. There will then be free time for lunch.

– After lunch we will make our way to Meknes, a beautiful walled city and check in to the four star Hotel Rif.
The day will end with dinner in the hotel.

7th DECEMBER
Meknes – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

– Breakfast in the hotel
– Visit to the city of Meknes, the Moulay Ismail mausoleum, including visit to Bab el Mansur and a local market.
– From here, we will make our way to Azrou, passing through the Medio Atlas forests.
– Lunch
– We will then continue to Erfoud, a city also known as a gateway to the desert. We will leave the bus there and continue towards Merzouga in 4×4’s.
– We will then continue towards Gran Erg Chebi, to our campsite. We will spend the night here under the stars, sleeping as the Nomads do.

8th DECEMBER
Merzouga – Rissani – Fez

– Sunrise in the Sahara (an unforgettable experience)
– Breakfast
– Camel rides through the sand dunes of the desert.
– We will then continue to Rissani in 4×4’s, taking the same route as used in the Dakar Rally!
– From Rissani we will then continue to Fez, a beautiful city, rich in Moroccan artisan tradition.
– Check in at the four star Hotel Sofia.
– Dinner in the hotel.

9th DECEMBER
Fez

– Breakfast in the hotel.
– Guided tour of the city, including a visit to the Merinid tombs.
– Visit to Fez el Jedid, including Plaza de los Alahuitas, the exterior of Palacio Ral and Dar el Makhzen.
– We will then continue towards Fez de Bali where we will visit some bazaar markets.
– This is followed by a stop at Plaza de Nejjarin where we will visit la madraza de Bounania.
– We will then visit Es Seffarin, in the tannery district, where we can see the leather tanners at work.
– Lunch in the hotel
– Afternoon free
– Free time for dinner. We would recommend dinner in a local restaurant which is accompanied by a show with traditional music, dance etc. However, this is entirely optional.

10th DECEMBER
Fez – Asilah – Tanger – Tarifa – Cordoba

– Breakfast in the hotel
– Departure for Asilah at 8am
– Free time for lunch
– Departure for Tanger after lunch
– Departure of ferry for Tarifa at 5pm
– Last leg of journey towards Cordoba
